As a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency established in 1933, the mission is "Helping our community's most vulnerable with solutions that permanently improve lives". It fulfills its mission through programs designed to address six causes:

  1. Promoting healthy youth
  2. Welcoming and assisting refugees
  3. Helping sex-trafficked women
  4. Helping abused women and their children
  5. Reducing homelessness
  6. Reducing poverty.
North Star Youth Partnership exemplifies promoting healthy youth by nurturing children to reach their full potential through an array of youth leadership programs and after school programs in Yavapai County.

About North Star Youth Partnership

Our Mission

North Star Youth Partnership helps youth choose healthy lifestyle behaviors that prevent violence, gang activity, substance use, and teen pregnancy through an array of youth leadership programs that build self-confidence and equip them with a “toolkit” of life skills.

Our youth leadership programs build leadership skills and truly engage youth in their communities. Participants develop self confidence and begin to see themselves as integral agents of change.

More than 50,000 Northern Arizona youth have participated in North Star’s award-winning programs since its inception in 1997.
