What's a Teen Maze?
Teen Maze has been described as a life-size game board to help teens see firsthand the consequences of life choices. Volunteers interact with teen participants in a fun and creative way to convey important and vital information about a variety of health and educational issues. A Health Track covers topics such as nutrition and body image, depression, the media, sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancy, relationships, legal issues, and parenting. The Substance Abuse Track targets the dangers of drinking and driving, tobacco, meth and other street drugs. The Positive Alternatives Track offers insight into selecting a career and educational aspects of that career, as well as service learning opportunities and volunteer work.

Training Options
Half-Day Training—$400
During this three-hour training, participants will be introduced to the process of planning and implementing a Teen Maze. This training is appropriate for communities who would like to know more about Teen Maze before deciding whether or not it is appropriate for their community.
One-Day Training—$800
During this six-hour training, participants will be introduced to the process of planning and implementing a Teen Maze and will cover a sampling of key elements including: specific Maze-related activities, fundraising, and volunteers. This training is appropriate for communities ready to commit to implementing a Maze, but need more information on the process and more community involvement.
Two-Day Training—$1,200
During this twelve-hour training, participants will be introduced to the process of planning and implementing a Teen Maze and will cover a sampling of key elements including: specific Maze-related activities, fundraising, and volunteers. Participants will also have the opportunity to “experience” the Teen Maze and begin planning specific details for rooms and activities in the Maze.
